Use Scope and Application Method:

Crop/Site Transplanted Rice Field
Control Target Annual and Some Perennial Weeds
Dosage (Product per mu) 160–240 g/mu
Application Method Poison Soil Application

Application Technical Requirements:

1. This product is only suitable for transplanted rice fields with seedling age of 28–35 days. The dosage is 80–100 g/mu in southern rice areas and 160–240 g/mu in northern rice areas. (Optimal: rice seedlings at 4 leaves with 1 heart stage or above; barnyard grass before 1 leaf with 1 heart stage.)

2. Apply 1–4 days before transplanting. Maintain a water layer of 2–3 cm before application. Mix this product evenly with base fertilizer and broadcast, then level the field before transplanting. Keep water for 4–7 days.

3. Or apply after transplanting: 7–15 days for early rice, 4–8 days for late rice. Mix this product with fertilizer or wet fine sandy soil and broadcast. (Use with caution on diseased or weak seedlings.) Maintain a water layer of 2–3 cm during application and keep water for 4–7 days.

Product Performance:

This product is a selective herbicide for transplanted rice fields containing sulfonylurea and amide compounds. It uses fine zeolite granules with unique sustained-release function as the carrier. The active ingredients bensulfuron-methyl and butachlor can diffuse in water, be absorbed by weed roots and leaves, inhibit cell synthesis, division and growth, leading to necrosis. They are metabolized into harmless substances in rice plants, providing selective protection for rice tillering. It controls more than 50 species of annual weeds and some perennial weeds, including barnyard grass, sedges, Sagittaria pygmaea, Marsilea quadrifolia, Potamogeton distinctus, Eclipta prostrata, Eleocharis yokoscensis, etc.

Precautions:

1. Apply only after rice seedlings have revived. Make drainage gaps on field ridges after application to avoid submerging rice heart leaves and prevent phytotoxicity.

2. Use with caution on light sandy soil and leaky fields, where control effect may be poor. If water leakage occurs after application, refill the field immediately with water only, no drainage, to restore the water layer.

3. This product may be used only once per crop season in transplanted rice fields. No adverse effects on succeeding crops under normal use. This product is only suitable for soil mixing application; do not use for spraying.

4. Do not drain field water into fish ponds after application. Do not clean application equipment in rivers or ponds. Wash hands and face promptly after application.

5. Dispose of residual pesticide solution and packaging properly to avoid poisoning and environmental accidents.
