Experts believe that China urgently needs to develop an oil absorbing material and technology that can extinguish fires and prevent explosions in order to avoid and reduce the harm caused by such accidents to the environment.

If the oil pollution is not intercepted in a timely manner and allowed to drift along, it will inevitably pass through the Wuyi River, Wujiang River, Lanjiang River, and eventually reach the Fuchun River and Qiantang River systems, which may cause significant adverse social impacts on the Hangzhou Summit. At this critical moment, the Environmental Pollution Emergency Team of Yongkang Zhongyi Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. took on the task and decisively selected new materials and technologies such as polymer composite FG oil absorbing drag rails, adsorption pads, and adsorption granules to successfully contain and eliminate the pollution source, ensuring that the Hangzhou Summit was not affected in any way.
